L.A. POLICE CHIEF WILLIAM J. BRATTON – Overseeing the third largest police department
in the U.S., Chief Bratton is directing new initiatives to reduce crime and target gang
violence. He is an outspoken advocate of gun regulations and speaks out publicly on the
dangers of unregulated guns. |

BILLIE P. WEISS, MPH – Founder of the Violence Prevention Coalition and leader in the
field of violence as a public health issue. She was the first person in a Public Health
Department to speak out about the public health issue of gun violence—and to
encourage other health departments to focus on this issue. |

|
MAJESTIC REALTY FOUNDATION LED BY FRAN INMAN – Active in the philanthropic
community, Ms. Inman serves as the founding president of the Majestic Realty
Foundation which awarded more than 300 grants last year, totaling more than $2 million
in support of organizations that work to prevent violence and build healthy communities. |
