When Women Against Gun Violence was founded in 1993, 16 youths ages 19 and under were killed by gunfire every day in the United States. 13 years later, that number has decreased to 8 young people a day. While this is an important accomplishment, we can not rest until there are no children falling victim to the epidemic of gun violence. Continued support from donors like you is the key to accomplishing this goal.
We are calling on communities across the nation to take up the goal of reducing gun violence. We must come together to combat this epidemic and protect our families; the time has come for all of us to call out, Our goal is Zero.
